Champions Cup Finals Roster Review – Hard Legion Esports

Rounding off our Roster Review series, covering all 8 of the champions competing at our very own Champions Cup FInals, where we’ll be hosting a $300,000 event here in St.Julian’s. Gathering some of the best competitive CS:GO rosters from around the world, presenting these rosters to you all has been a pleasure. Without further delay, we’ll take a closer look at the final team from the CIS region – Hard Legion Esports.

Hard Legion Esports is incredibly new to the scene of competitive CS:GO, founded on the 17th of October half-way through the European Champions Cup Finals, signing ex-DreamEaters who were competing in the event. The all Russian roster made the transition, but this didn’t effect their performance, placing first at the qualifier! Due to this, the roster doesn’t have the longest history, with their first place at the ECC being their top achievement so far, besides the lower placings at other events. It was at the qualifier that the roster would go on to secure a 2-0 finish in their opening group, being the toughest group of the event. Without any problems they would reach the Finals, taking out BIG in 2-0 fashion. Let’s name the dominant roster from the qualifier:

  • Anton “speed4k” Titov
  • Semyon “kinqie” Lisitsyn
  • Vladislav “Krad” Kravchenko
  • Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy
  • Svyatoslav “svyat” Dovbakh (Captain)
  • Alexander “zoneR” Bogatyrev (Coach)

The all-Russian roster has been together for the majority of 2019, ever since “svyat” joined last December, and their still waiting for their big break. Fighting their way through our qualifier, they definitely champions not to be underrated, especially since they haven’t proven themselves internationally yet – making them even more dangerous. They will clearly have the advantage against many of the other European squads having already competing against most of them – it’ll be their confrontations against the Invited and Asian rosters which will determine the extent of their success.
