EXHIBITING AT ONE OF THE LARGEST GAMING SHOWS OF THE YEAR
Although we’ve delved into this year’s highly anticipated iteration of Gamescom in a previous article in all of its details and general expectations, there’s a thread of information we purposely left out for a separate announcement. Embodied through this article, Eden Esports is incredibly proud to reveal that we’ll be assembling our very showcase stand at Gamescom!
Gamescom is arguably the largest expo event for the gaming community every year, dwarfing the likes of competing names such as E3. Hundreds of thousands of interested parties visit the event each year; with its diverse array of game reveals, company showcases and the surreal sense of community overall. Last year’s statistics back these claims substantially, as over 370,000 visitors crammed into the City of Cologne, flying in from over 114 countries to witness the event which was inclusive of the 1,037 exhibiting companies from 56 different nations. For comparison’s sake, E3 2019 housed roughly 66,100 people. Those impressive figures from 2018 are projected to continue growing, as the number of exhibiting companies already sits at roughly 1,300 names – we’re delighted to share the 201,000m²
exhibition space with many other companies invested in gaming and esports.
As an exhibiting company, Eden Esports will be showcasing our identity as an international esports company by providing bystanders with the opportunity to discover who we are in terms of our past, current initiatives and future plans in the form of events, leagues and branding. Being present serves as an occasion to interact with international esports enthusiasts in both visitors and other companies and further integrate ourselves with the global community.
Following our rebranding and announcements for continental esports events such as the European Champion’s Cup, this year stood as the perfect chance for our very first appearance at Gamescom in order to build new relationships for the benefit of the company.
Be sure to stop by and check us out or even pause for a chat should you be attending this year’s Gamescom, which will surely be one of the most electric events of the year. It’s very likely that this appearance at Gamescom will be the first of many!
