Top 5 Games Releasing in 2020 – Part 2!

2. THE LAST OF US: PART II

The Last of Us: Part II has got some huge shoes to fill, in respect to the incredible success found by its predecessor. Until now, it has, as the community is inexplicably excited for it. However, it’s rather obvious that it will be one of the first to release on the PS5 – just in case you needed another reason to purchase the console. Releasing on May 29, I believe we all know what to expect.

1. CYBERPUNK 2077

Although The Last of Us: Part II may be quite big – I think it sits in the shadow of CD Project RED’s next project of CyberPunk 2077. Ever since Keanu Reeves appeared on stage to announce the title, still one of the greatest marketing strategies ever, everyone’s been completely buzzing about the role-player which nobody knows too much about. Made by the same team behind The Witcher series, there shouldn’t be any reason not to be excited on the 16th of April next year.

As you can imagine, in a list like this, there are quite a few honourable mentions; a few of which include Rainbow Six Quarantine, the series’ first move into PvP action, Marvel’s Avengers for all those Marvel fans, the remake of Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated and my favourite honourable mention – Dying Light 2 – a follow-up to the genre-defining masterpiece of Dying Light. One other I heavily look forward to is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, as a collection of those LEGO games so beloved in my childhood.

Bear in mind, many of these titles will probably be playable on the PS5, so expect the best of performance and graphics as next-gen looks to really push the limits. Also, everything is subject to delay.
